I had one good week, made one decent check, and after that, I stopped getting decent leads. The management picks out the good leads, and gives you the garbage leftovers. Or they leave you for weeks with no leads while the run off on constant vacations.You spend more money in gas, running down leads trying to do a bait and switch, than you make, and harassing families up till 9PM to try to get them to sit with you and buy insurance that really doesn't cover much, and can get pricey fast. They have a few good programs, but they really just want to push the whole life on everyone, and they don't fully explain the other programs to new employees. They ask if there are any questions about a product, 30 minute training sessions to quickly ramble on about the product, then closes the training and leave. If you have no idea what was just taught, too bad.The only ones that make any money is the management, and they refuse to share it. Which is odd, since they get a portion on what you make too, but they would rather have the full amount to themselves.

Freedom of Choice Program
AIL’s Freedom of Choice Certificate enables the beneficiary to assign a designated benefit amount directly to the funeral home following your death. Since most funeral homes require immediate payment, this allows your family to choose any funeral home and provide them with the completed Freedom of Choice certificate. The funeral home contacts our Company directly to cover the funeral cost.
Term Life Insurance

A separate, enhanced program, the American Income Partners Gold Program, is available for a fee.
ETOH
Alcohol Exam Paramedical exam requested by underwriting to evaluate an applicant’s health. Height, Weight, and blood pressure are measured. A urine specimen is always collected. Some applicants require additional tests such as an EKG or Blood sample.
Oral Test
Test the agent can perform at the time of the application to prevent the need for an examination. Oral tests can detect Cotinine (nicotine), Cocaine and HIV.
Policy Modification Letter
Document attached to all modified policies. This is a description of the modification for the agent to use in delivering the policy.
Retention
Retention is a ratio of how much submitted business pays through the 4th month. It is a rolling evaluation period that is determined by going back 6 months from current month, and the submit months being evaluated are the 6 months prior to that month. For example, April 2002 AP&P reports reflect an evaluation period of May 2001 to October 2001. Any application submitted during those months is being evaluated to determine if premiums were paid through the 4th month. If so, there is a positive impact to retention. If not, there will be a negative impact. Policies can be reinstated to improve retention, however, the positive impact is to the original writing agent even if recoded at time of reinstatement.
